Bachelor and Master of Music in Vocal Performance/Music Education

Training of the singing voice is a very personal journey which not only develops the mechanical aspects of the voice, but also aids the student in the discovery of their own artistic potential.  My philosophy of teaching includes solid training, from a classical perspective, in vocal technique, repertoire, musicianship skills, and sight- singing, which is personalized for each student.

Holding Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance/Music Education, Ms. Mancini Gough has numerous years of experience as a private voice teacher at her own studio and at various Artist-in Residence programs in Central MA.  She also holds Massachusetts State Certification as a teacher of public school music for grades K-12, with many years of experience as such. She is sensitive to the individual needs of her students and tailors her teaching to develop each person as a singing musician, skillful in both vocal technique and musicianship.
